President Joe Biden says he's coming to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month because he's a "car guy."
He made the announcement during a White House American Rescue Plan event. The White House has not officially announced the visit or the day he'll attend.
Media previews begin Sept. 14 and the public event runs from Sept. 17-25.
The show's site says:
Explore nine days of new vehicle displays and exhibits at Huntington Place, Hart Plaza and throughout downtown Detroit, ride-and-drives both indoors and outdoors, air mobility demonstrations, family-fun experiences, musical entertainment, auto enthusiast car clubs, street food and much more.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older and $10 for children 3-12. Children two years and under get in for free. A family pass for two adults and three children is $50.
