The new Pontiac Transportation Museum, which will highlight the city's role in transportation from the 1800s on, will hold its grand opening Saturday.
The special event at 250 Pike Street will include games and activities, food trucks and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Oakland Press reports that at one time about 80% of all buses on U.S. roads were made in Pontiac – including the one on which Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man.
