Macy's Closing 4 Stores in Michigan Including at Oakland Mall

Macy's Inc. said Thursday it will close 66 underperforming stores, including four in Michigan, the Detroit News reports.

The locations in Michigan include locations at Grand Traverse Mall in Traverse City, Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Oakland Mall in Troy and Genesee Valley Center in Flint.

The closures are part of a strategy to return the company to a sustainable and profitable growth.

Macy's will apparently still operate in local malls like Somerset Collection and Twelve Oaks.
