Michigan Marijuana Market Sees Price Declines for Ninth Straight Month

One thing's for sure: there's no shortage of cannabis shops in Michigan. In fact, the market may be oversaturated — good news for consumers, but not for business owners.

Crain's Detroit Business reports:

For April, the average price of an ounce of adult-use recreational flower dropped nearly 4.5% to $62.23, likely due to rampant discounts and giveaways during the popular 420 holiday weekend, according to data from the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency.

It’s the ninth straight month of price declines in the market, brought on by product oversupply, that’s defined the Michigan market as the cheapest place for weed in the country.
